Bottle Conditioned Film Screening

  • Absolem Cider Company 799 Winthrop Center Road Winthrop, ME, 04364 United States (map)

On Wednesday, August 2nd, join us for a screening of Bottle Conditioned - an intimate look at lambic beer through three of its most revered brewers and blenders - directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Jerry Franck.

After the film, join us for a Q&A with brewers from Oxbow Brewing & Allagash Brewing, as well as team members from Novare Res Bier Cafe, as they discuss the process of brewing and passion for spontaneous beer.

In addition to our usual menu of house ciders, wines, and cocktails - we'll be serving traditional lambic and gueuze from Belgium and American spontaneous beers - for purchase by the glass and in bottles.

Tickets are $20 with only 50 seats available for this screening. Drinks and snacks are available for separate purchase throughout the event. Film viewing will take place outside in the fields near our barn tasting room (in case of inclement weather the screening will move inside our tasting room). More details on the menu for the evening coming soon...

Doors open at 4PM, with the film starting at 7PM (run time: 82 minutes) with a Q&A following shortly afterwards.
