A cider made for the untamed and adventurous spirit of coastal Maine. The forecast is misty, a strong breeze rolling in, with some chilled Folksel on hand.
Made with 100% Golden Russet apples, an apple integral to many of our ciders (and yes has russeted potato looks). Fermented in stainless tanks at 50 degrees for 120 days before being racked and cold conditioned in stainless tanks at 40 degrees for about three weeks until profoundly crisp. This cider is bubbly, bright, soft, with a spritz-like acidity to bring it all together. We call it our “tavern cider” because it’s built to be enjoyed several glasses at a time amongst good friends. A cider made specifically for New England taverns. The flavors make for a crisp refreshing experience in every glass. Who knew russeted apples could taste like that?! Grab a glass, order up some fried clams or fish and you’ll be in for a good night.
